VMGears DM calculates specific indicators for various types of defects, monitoring their evolution over time and activating an alarm when acceptability thresholds are exceeded: the alarm can be configured to shut down of the test bench, in order to stop the machine and organize inspections. The alarm thresholds are defined during the self-learning phase and can be further modified manually or automatically.

VMGears DM is used in endurance tests of rotating machines to monitor over time defects, such us dent teeth, pitting, pitch errors, eccentricity, impacts, piston slap, unbalanced rotors, etc.

VMGears DM can be configured to monitor not only vibrations but also other types of sensors – such as thermocouples, oil quality transducers, torquemeters, etc.. – allowing a complete and in-depth diagnostics of rotating machines. This is possible due to flexibility and configurability of hardware and software modules

VMGears DM performs the diagnostic monitoring of mechanical transmissions during test endurance over hundreds of hours.

VMGears DM consists of a cabinet with PC, data acquisition box and accelerometers to be placed on the monitored machine. It can be programmed to execute an automatic and continuous cycle of measurement and analysis, during which it does not require the overhead of the operator.

VMGears QC could be easily integrated in any line or test bench, and can work stand-alone or interfaced with a supervisor for data exchange (codes, machine parameters, analysis results).

VMGears QC is a complete system, composed by a dedicated software, an electronic unit control, sensors and wires.The software manages a SQL database easily accessible and exportable.
